Sooo, my week is booked right up. I do quite a bit of extra-curricular stuff, and this week was officially hell. New dentist on Monday (That was actually fun, I got a filling without anasthetic and can now chew on BOTH sides of my mouth! Isn't it grand.); EWC meeting today; Art Club, Night Math (which I'm skipping for the meeting) and a Parks and Rec meeting tomorrw; another EWC meeting on Thursday; and a school dance Friday at which I have to work because I'm on Student Council. Yayyy [sarcasm].
My dentist has told me that I am to stressed. The fact that I only met him yesterday tells me he is very perceptive. Or just a good dentist. I clench my jaw often, and apparently I was clenching so hard I cracked a filling. Anyway, my biology teacher tells me that I need to slow down. I don't agree, in fact I think I need to speed up. I just need to be more organized about it. And train my body to survive on 2 hours sleep a day.
Also, a friend and I are speaking strictly French on MSN Messenger! It's an attempt to get used to the language, praactice conjugation, and build vocabulary. Especially "everyday" vocabulary, the kind we don't really get taught in class. I mean, when am I honestly going to have to use "crime scene" words? On the other hand, terms I already use in every day conversation are worth knowing.
So... nothing strictly IB-related has happened recently. I did get a comment on the blog though! My math was corrected in the study sheet. x does not "approach infinity", it "grows without bounds". The form to write it (x --> ∞) technically says "approaches infinity" as the arrow is read "approaches" and the sideways eight symbol reads "infinity". Still, I understand the arguement behind "grows without bounds", but I'll explain that another time.
Good night for now,
Ace
